LetsTalkAboutLove™ presents:
Eat • Play • Love ...
a Couple Communication -Cooking- Class

Research tells us that couples who play together, stay together!

Most importantly, focusing on the positive ingredients of a relationship like laughter, humour and fun creates a common bond between partners that naturally buffers stress and helps sustain love and communication, especially during the difficult times...Today we tend to expect more than ever before from our couple relationships without really knowing how to sustain them. Often a married couple juggling the many demands of life, work and children take their bond for granted. They fail to cultivate and nurture the positive interactions they share, neglecting the fun, playful and sexy side of the relationship. Over time, this neglect can create disappointment and disconnection.

So, when’s the last time you did something fun together? Enjoyed great food and conversation? Learned something new about each other?

Come join us in this “playshop” as we ignite your passion for both great food and a great life!

Congratulations!  You’re engaged!  This is a great time in your life and should be thoroughly enjoyed, but after the fun and excitement of the announcement dissipates, the real work begins…..preparing for marriage.  After all, a marriage proposal is more than a ring and far more than a simple question.  Along with all the wedding details, the engagement stage involves introspection and open communication with your fiancé, family and friends.  Staying emotionally engaged becomes key!  This is a time for a deepening of relationships, and learning about the human and spiritual dimensions of marriage.  Many couples today are experiencing the benefits of marriage education through premarital counseling and/or workshops.

Really Engaged is a practical program that is built on a strong theoretical foundation. It provides couples with opportunities to increase their awareness and understanding of key marital issues and to develop the interpersonal skills essential to strengthen their relationship. Using a Relationship Enhancement ™ (RE) model, this workshop teaches couples specific attitudes, strategies, and skills for navigating life transitions and constructively dealing with difficulties which challenge the quality of marriage. Research has repeatedly demonstrated RE to be the most effective at decreasing risk for future marital distress and increasing intimacy and overall relationship satisfaction.

So Why Not Give Your Marriage What It Deserves?

Workshops are held in a relaxed and informal atmosphere and given by Lydia St. Denis, M.Ed. Married for over 20 years, Lydia also combines years of studies and training at McGill University as well as many professional development seminars both here and abroad. Her dedication and passion for helping couples get off to a good start in marriage has recognized Lydia as a leader in the field of relationships and continues to be reflected in the demand for her popular couples workshops.
